Are you ready to become a master of all braided styles? Braiding for Beginners is a hands-on class perfect for beginner braiders who want to learn or improve their techniques. This class will provide you with a solid foundation and the necessary skills to effortlessly create clean, neat braids. Come learn from A. Michelle, an experienced braider of 26 years in an intimate setting where the focus is on you and making sure you leave this class with a new skill to be proud of. 

What you will learn:

1. Proper hand placement and finger coordination for braiding control
2. How to grip and control the hair for neat, long lasting braids
3. Basic three strand overhand cornrow techniques
4. Parting techniques 
5. Tips for tension control 
6. How to add in braiding hair for reinforcement 

Class duration: 3 hours (1pm-4pm)

1. Tripod stand 
2. #420 all purpose comb
3. Metal tip rat tail comb 
4. Rubber bands 
5. Clips for sectioning 
6. Hair ties 
7. Pure O Natural neat braid conditioning gel

Mannequins will be provided for use while in the class
